As Grant's film Four Weddings and a Funeral gained international recognition, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown that featured gold safety-pins. The dress immediately garnered interest from the media. Hurley's partnership to Estee Lauder, a cosmetics maker, has been seen as the pinnacle of her professional career. It offered Hurley the first model role in the year she turned 29 and has employed Hurley as a model in their products, particularly perfumes like Sensuous Intuition as well as Pleasures since 1995. The most famous of her roles is her character, Vanessa Kensington, in the successful spy thriller films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley now models and creates an original beachwear line. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's early attempts to become famous in the mainstream failed. She was signed to two record labels, but dropped before any of her songs were made available for release. In 2007, however, Capitol Records put out Perry's EP Ur So Gay which attracted modest attention for its cheerfully cheeky title track. The song I Kissed a Girl was a more assertive ode sexism backed with the hard-edged rhythm of electro-pop. It was a controversial song, as critics criticized its stance on promoting sexual relationships and other charged that it portrays a racy and sexually charged scene appealing to male fantasies regarding female sexuality. But the mixture of exuberance and refined melodicism helped I Kissed a Girl become a top hit throughout the world, driving sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). Hot N Cold, Perry's bright and sharply-tongued debut album, which also had the second single that became a hit, also received a lot of attention. The album Perry wrote herself sold more than 3 million copies.
